A wkd on the farm

Headed to the farm this wkd to get away from city life, do some errands for mom, cut some grass, play with my little nephew and of course eat!

Wow it has only been maybe two months but little Ethan is not so small anymore! He is just shy of 6 months and boy what some good eating has done for him!! Him and I get along like favorite uncle/favorite nephew should!! lol

Did an hour run on Saturday with Taz. Nothing too fancy just a nice try and find the legs pace. We saw all kinds of wild life and she even got to chase a few antelope for a bit.

Sunday was ride day. I got up at 5, looked at the temp, wtf it was only 2 degrees so turned on the tv for a little prime coronation street (gotta love the satelite) and waited for it to warm up. Finally packed up all my gear and drove to the nearest decent highway (which in saskatchewan and their cheap ass paving techniques can be a long drive). Had a great just over 4 hour ride!! into the wind on the way out and with it on the way back.

Gotta admit I have adopted Julie's grrrr technique whenever something was not quite right and boy did that make a difference!!

Now I am back in the city all fat dumb and happy ready to tackle another week.
